Privacy Policy

ShowSavant is a personal tracker for the shows and movies you watch. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information, we do not run ads, and we do not use third-party analytics trackers.

Account: your email address, and, if you use Sign in with Apple or Google, the basic profile info they share. An optional display name, used only to label the things you choose to share.

Your content: the shows and movies you track, their status and your place in each, your lists and collections, notes, and the streaming services you select.

Sava (the AI assistant): the messages you send Sava and any screenshot, photo, or file you choose to attach. These are sent to a trusted AI provider to generate a reply. Sava chat history is automatically deleted after 30 days.

Notifications: if you turn them on, a device push token and your notification preferences.

Photos: only the specific image you pick to show Sava. We never otherwise reach into your photo library.

To run and sync your library across your devices, power Sava, send the notifications you turn on, and let you share titles and lists.

Information about titles shown in ShowSavant, including shows and movies, seasons and episodes, where to watch, and rental or buy prices, comes from third-party sources such as TMDB and streaming-availability providers. This is general information about titles, not personal information about you.

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

When you share a title or list, we create a link and a web page showing those titles and any note you add. Anyone with the link can view it. If you share by email, the recipient's address is used only to send that one message.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising.

The showsavant.com marketing site uses no advertising or analytics trackers, and it does not collect any personal information. When you email us, we use your address only to reply.

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists, and Sava chat is deleted after 30 days. You can delete your account and all of its data at any time from the app's Settings, and you can edit or remove your tracked titles, lists, and services, or turn notifications on or off, whenever you like.

If a paid membership ends and your account returns to the free plan while tracking more than 20 titles, we keep your 20 most recent and set the rest aside for up to 90 days before removing them, so you can pick up where you left off if you rejoin.

ShowSavant is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We use industry-standard protections, including encryption in transit, to keep your information safe.

We may update this policy from time to time and will revise the date above whenever we do.
